Author's Story

Hi, my name is Inessa, I am on maternity leave and recently opened the world of needlework for me.

The story of my journey to handmade began with the search for a unique toy for my friend's newborn daughter. And when I couldn't find one, I decided to create it myself. When in 48 hours I held a plush bunny in my hands, I realized that there was nothing to stop me now…

Now, during the war, I knit mostly patriotic toys, and it is very inspiring. But I really like interesting and complicated orders.

Also, there is a wonderful project in Ukraine, where craftsmen create toys for the children affected by war: internally displaced, orphaned, those in the occupied territories, etc. I am honored to participate in this project, and I am glad that my toys bring smiles to children.

These plush frame dolls were created at the call of my soul and with the permission of the client. It was a great experiment for both of us, and it worked, because you won't find dolls like these for sure.

I will be enormously happy if one of my dolls becomes a friend for a little (or not) girl.
